This little beauty has a private entrance to your one bedroom plus den apartment with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the den has a double size futon that opens up with all the linens.

The den doubles as your sitting area with double sliding glass doors opening to the pool and dock area. Launch your kayak here or launch your boat nearby and park it here. There is a private heated pool, and five restaurants within boating distance. You will enjoy great fishing and sightseeing.

Matlacha is an Old Florida fishing village, home to many brightly colored art galleries, seafood restaurants, and traditional Florida fish shacks. There is much to do and see. Moon Shell Hideaway is just around the corner from these great attractions, and you can boat or kayak to several where some have live music every evening.

The apartment with separate entrance is entirely yours. The dock and pool area are for you to enjoy, and Captain Cathy also provides two bicycles for your use.

As you have seen on this website, Cathy Eagle Madigan, your host, is a charter captain so she is often out on the water, but available early in the morning or in the evening should need anything. Cathy always does her best to accommodate guests’ needs and is usually available through text messaging.

The apartment’s kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, and there is an outdoor grill. Plates, utensils, cups, and glasses are provided. The den doubles as a second bedroom with a futon that sleeps two.
